PERSONAL.
The death occurred at Carterton, on Monday, night, of Mr Danis Sullivan, an old resident of Carterton. MrAlf. Gray, of the Ffatherston railway staff, is to le tiansfened to Woodville, and will leive fcr tnat place to-day. Mr and Mrs T. Poole, of Weber, - left yesterday for Wellington, en route to England', where they intend to spend an extended holiday. Mr S. Carnell, a former representative, states that he will be a candidate for Napie- at the coming general elections. Mr P. J. O'Regan has been laid up with an attack of illness since Saturday in Wellington. He will be unable to accompany the Conciliation Board to Wanganui in connection with the painters' dispute.
