A BOMB OUTRAGE.

TWO PERSONS KILLED. LONDON, May 1. A bomb was thrown into a carriage at Muzaffarpore, in Bengal. Miss Kennedy, one of the occupants of the carriage, and the eoachman, were killed. Mrs Kennedy, who was also in the carriage, was severely injured, and lies in a precarious state. COMB PROBABLY MEANT FOR A JUDGE. Received May 2, 8.25 p.m. CALCUTTA, May 2. The bomb outrage at Muzaffarpore occurred opposite the residence of Mr Kingsford, District Judge, who was recently acting as Magistrate at Calcutta. Mr Kingsford's life was frequently threatened in connection with the late riot trials and whipping sentences he had imposed. It is suspected that the bomb was intended for him. Mrs Kennedy is the wife of a barrister.
A BOMB FACTORY DISCOVERED. . TWENTY ARRESTS MADE. Received May 4, 12.20 a.m. CALCUTTA, May 3. In connection with the outrage at Muzafferpore, a bomb factory has been discovered in Calcutta. Twenty Bengalese have been arrested, including Home students and journalists.
