'. > '■"——' ...» NEXT CONGRESS TO BE HELD IN SYDNEY. Received May 3. 4.40 p.m. LONDON, May 2. It has been decided that the Congress of Chambers of Commerce of the Empire shall meet at Sydney either on September 14th or September 21st, 2909. The delegates will spend twelve days in New South Wales, including the Congress, Bix each in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and West Australia, and five in Tasmania. Between a hundred and two hundred Chambers of Commerce in Britain will participate, besides many Chambers in Canada, South Africa, and elsewhere. It is announced that the invitation to visit New Zealand will most likely be accepted.
