BRIGADES READY FOR IMMEDIATE ADVANCE. Received May 2, 8.15 p.m. CALCUTTA. May 2. 1 The Mohmands were extremely truculent when all the offending clans were ordered to send deputations to hear the British terms. Two brigades at Shabkadar and Michni are ready for an immediate advance. A third brigade with the eighteenth battery of field artillery left Peshawar owing to the activity of an Afghan body who are threatening Landikatal.
