PERSONAL.
Mr C. Long, who has for the past twenty years resided at Mangamahoe, is dangerously ill. Mr F. W. Maunsell and family, of Masterton, have booked passages for London by the steamer lonic, which will sail from Wellington on May 21st. At Eketahuna, on Wednesday last, Miss M. A. Hall, eldest daughter of Mr R. Hall, of Rongomai, was married to Mr T. Walsh, eldest son of Mr P. Walsh. Mr M. Hall was best man, and Misses Laura Hall and M. Scott 'bridesmaids. Mr H. S. Moss, the popular secretary of the Wairarapa P. and A. Society, Was paid some very high and well-desarved compliments at the annual meeting of the Society yesterday. The retiring president, Mr 11. McPhee, before vacating his postion, eulogised Mr Moss' services, and the secretary was given throe hearty ■ cheers by the meeting.
