A senior championship football match, Masterton v. Red Stars, will be placed on the Masterton Showtgrounds nt 3 o'clock on Saturday. The secretary of the Wairarapa Rugby Football Union informed a 'Wairarapa Age reporter, yesterday, that the proposed South Island trip -will taka place about the end of July. Southland have offered the Union £25.

The Senior Liberal team to play the Albions, at Carterton, to-day, will be chosen from:—Chisholm, Hendry, Everitt, McCabe, Nix, Aickeii, Fuge, Tocker, F. Murphy, Whyte, G. McKenzie, Mason, Tait, iFairbrother, Heywood, and R. Parker.'

Tne Liberal junior team, which will play the Albions at Greytown, to-day, will consist of:—Tidswell, W.Crawford, A. G. Walker, Hayes, Holland, H. Walker, Higgison, Kelly, 0. "Snowy" Wickens, an old Masterton boy, and now resident at Featheriston, has thrown in his lot with the 'Greytown United team and will play his first match this season for that -team on Saturday against Carterton, ;at Greytown.
