THE SEASON'S FIXTURES

A meeting of the Wairarapa Hockey Associiation was held at Carterton last evening, all the delegates being present. The following fixtures were drawn up for the coming season's championship matches:— May 7th.—W.F.A.C. A team v. Y.M.C.A., at Masterton; W.F.C.A. B team v. Carterton A, at Masterton; Knox v. Carterton B, at Carterton; Greytown a bye. May 14th. Carterton A v. W.F.C.A., A team, at Carterton; Greytown v. Knox, at Masterton; W.F.C.A. B team v. Y.M.C.A., at Masterton; Carterton B a bye. May 21st.—W.F.C.A. A team v. Knox, at. -Masterton; Y.M.C.A. v. Carterton B, at Masterton; Greytown v. W.F.C.A. B team, at Greytown ; Carterton A a bye. May 28th. —W.F.C.A. B team v. Carterton B, at Masterton; Carterton A v. Knox, at Masterton; Y.M.C.A. v. Greytown, at MastertDn; W.F.C.A. A team a bye. June 11th.—Carterton B v. Greytown, at Gfeytown; Carterton Av. Y.M.C.A., at Carterton; W.F.C.A. B team v. W.F.C.A. A team, at Masterton; Knox a bye. June 18th.—W.F.C.A. A team v. Carterton B, at Masterton; W.F.C.A. B team v. Knox, at Masterton; Carterton A v. Greytown, at Greytown; Y.M.C.A. a bye. June 25th.—Y.M.C.A. v. Knox, at Masterton; Carterton A v. Carterton B, at Carterton; Greytown v. W.F.C.A. A team, at Greytown; W.F.C.A. B team a bye. The second round will be the same, with the exception that the grounds will be reversed. The, Associati n have given Mr E. R. Daniel sole control in the matter of appointing referees for the season, with permission to draw on the players in the team that has a bye for a referee.
