BOWLING.
NEW ZEALAND V. MARRACKVILLE. Received April 20, 9.7 p.m. SYDNEY, April 20. The New Zealanders defeated Marrackville by 178 to 142. There was a large number of bowlers on the Maaterton green yesterday, including a number of visitors from Pahiatua and Featherston. The green was on the heavy side, after the recent rain, but nevertheless the games prove enjoyable and were productive of some good competition. Hunter, Burrows, Hewatt (skip), Pahiatua 17; W. Pragnell, Jones, E. McEwen, O. Pragnell (skip), Masterton 24, beat Yule, Bidwill, Everton, Benton (skip), Featherston, 17.
