Received April 20, 9.26 p.m. LONDON, April 20. The Social Democrat Conference at Manchester decisively rejected a t proposal to affiliate with the Labour I Party. To-day their Majesties King Edward and Queen Alexandra start on a fortnight's visit to Copenhagen, Stockholm and Christiana. Mr J. Chamberlain is making steady progress towards recovery He makes long walks. Queen Alexandra has given £IOO to the fund for the benefit of the families of the crew of the destroyer Tiger, which wa3 run down by the cruiser Berwick, off St. Catherine's Point, Isle of Wight.
