ORANGE GRAND LODGE.
WELLINGTON, April 19. The South Island Grand Orange Lodge held its last meeting, prior to amalgamation with the North Island, yesterday. The Lodge was raised to the P.A.P. degree. The Grand Secretary of Australia wrote for statistics owing to the Lodge's application for a new wairant in connection with the amalgamation. Applications for ladies' lodge warrants w ro received fro>rf Nelson, Timaru and Kaitangata. It was decided to prepare a history of Orangcism in the dominion, i'he balance-sheet showed a credit of £2O.
