THE BATTLEFIELDS OF QUEBEC. LONDON, April 17. Five ex-Governors General ot Canada propose that the British public shall subscribe a quarter of a million towards the Dominion scheme to convert the battlefields of Quebec into a public park. A preliminary meeting at the Mansion House was well supported. The Lord Mayor said ho had no doubt the appeal would be successful.
