STAR OF JAPAN.
MAY POSSIBLY BE SAVED. Received April 17, 9.41 a.m. LONDON, April 16. The salvage captain reports that the Star of Japan may possibly be saved. The steamer Star of Japan, en route to Australia and New Zealand, is stranded on a reef near Dakar, Cape Verde.
