SERIOUS MOTOR ACCIDENT.
+ BTTEIiEGRATH—PRE >9 ASSOCIATION. MARTON, April 14. A serious motor accident occurred to Lynn M'Kelvie'a motor car with seven occunants, while going home from a Bulls sale yesterday after--1 noon. The car had reached some distance beyond Pare.nanui school when a horse jumping from a fence came in collision with it and capsized the car. The whole of the occupants of the car were more or less severely injured. Dr. Watson was telephoned for, and Dr. Margin, from Palmerston, arrived shortly after. An ambulance was also sent for, and two of the injured party were taken to the Palmerston Hospital, th<4 other sufferers being attended to on the spot. Among the occupant 3, besides L. M'Kelvie, were Messrs Amon (2), J. Sim, Atkinson, and two others. Sam Amon had his thigh broken, Bert Amon his ankle broken, and the others escaped more lightly. The car was badly injured and the horse killed.
