FATAL GUN ACCIDENT.
NAPIER, April 12. A gun accident occurred on Watchman Island (inner harbour) at about 5 o'clock this afternoon, resulting in the instantaneous death of Frank Oulton, aged about 26, a coach painter. He was one of a party who were shooting shage, and while he was descending a steep rocky side of the Island with the aid of a wire rope fixed there his gun went off, and the upper part of his head was blown away.
