AN INDIAN OUTRAGE.
PERPETRATORS SENTENCED. • Received April 12, 4.30 p.m. CALCUTTA, April 11. The ringleader of the party which, on December 9th attempted to destroy the train conveying Sir Andrew Fraser, Lieutenant-Governor of Bengal, and his wife, has been sentenced to ten years imprisonment. Five accomplices were sentenced to five years imprisonment each. The ringleader confessed that he was induced to make the attempt for twelve rupees, which he was never paid.
