NOTICE OF POLL. BOKOUGH OP MASTERTON. PROPOSAL UNDER THE FACTORIES ACTS. is hereby given that 1. That a POLL of the Electors on a Proposal '-that the Weokly HalfHoliday provided for by Section 33 of the Factories Act shall be allowed in the Borough of Masterton on the same day as the day appointed for shops in the said Borough, under the Shops and Offices Act," will be taken on Wednesday, the Twentyday of April, 1908. 2. That the situation of the Polling Booths are as follows: — Description. | Situation. THE DRILL HALL HALL STREET. THE FIRE BRI- QUEEN STREET, GADE STATION. KURIPUNI. and that such Polling Booths will be open between the hours of nine o'clock in the forenoon and seven o'clock in the afternoon. 3. The form of the voting paper will be as follows: — BOROUGH OF MASTERTON. Proposal "That the Weekly HalfHoliday provided for by Section 33 of the Factories Act shall be allowed in tho Borough of Masterton on the same day as the day appointed for shops in the said Borough under tho Shops and OiFices Act." P'OR tho Proposal AGAINST the Proposal DIRECTIONS. If the voter desires to vote FOR the proposal he must mark a cross in the square at the end of the line "For the Proposal." If he desires to vote AGAINST the proposal ho must mark a cross in the square at tho end of the line "Against the Proposal." The voting paper is to be folded up so that its contents cannot be seen, and the otlicial mark on the back having been shown to tho Returning Officer, the voting piper is to be put into the ballot box by the voter. The v oting paper is not to be taken out of the polling booth. 4. The Colour of the Voting Paper will be YELLOW. 5. An elector may give one vote and no more. WM T. MANSFIELD, Returning Officer.
