Goodbehere, Feilding, at 8.30 p.m. on Monday, April 13th. DEATH OF A WELL-KNOWN SPORTSMAN. BT TELEGRAPH—PKESS ASSOCIATION. Received April 10, 10.20 a.m. SYDNEY, April 10. Mr Hungerford, formerly a railway contractor in New Zealand, and a racehorse owner, is dead; aged 76. Mr Hungerford was a well-known racehorse owner in New Zealand a few years ago. He owned, among others, the well-known performers British Lion and Whakawatea.
