DISSATISFIED TELEGRAPH OPERATORS.
WORK DELAYED. Received April 6, 8.55 a.m. CALCUTTA, April 5. Telegraph operators in India, being dissatisfied with regulations introduced by Mr Newlands, an expert lent by the British Post Office, wilfully delayed messages. Two thousand telegrams were stopped at Rangoon, and cablegrams from Europe via Teheran are seriously delayed at Ksrchi and onwards.
