50,000 MEN AFFECTED. Received April fi, 10.37 p.m. PARIS, April 6. The employers in Paris, besides rejecting the masons demands for nine hours a day instead of ten, and i higher wages, have declared a genI eral lock-out, affecting 50,000 men. | The employers have taken this step on account of workmen "botching" work and wilfully damaging material. Should the carpenters, plasterers, and other trades join in the dispute, 200,000 will be thrown idle.
