A POLITICAL SUSPECT.

BRITISHER ARRESTED AT ODESSA. DETAINED IN A FILTHY PRISON. Received April 2, 9.40 a.m. ODESSA, April 1. Nicholas Luxenburg, a naturalised Britisher and boot manufacturers' agent in London, was arrested as a political suspect at Odessa, and detained for a fortnight in a filthy prison. He appealed to the British Consul, and was released, but the authorities retained one-third of his money.

Luxenhurg claims an indemnity. Questions regarding the matter will be asked in Parliament.
