METEOROLOGICAL.
♦ At 9 a.m. yesterday Captain Edwin issued the following forecast for the subsequent 24 hours:— Wind.—Westerly, strong to gale after 16 hours at all places northward of East Cape, Taupo, and Raglin, and from the same direction, but earlier everywhere else. Barometer. —Fall everywhere. Rain is probable in all parts of the country. Warning signal for northerly gale is exhibited at Capes Poulwind,Campbell, and Farewell Spit; for westrely gale at Nugget Point, and also for westerly gale will be shown after sun-ise at Capes Maria Van Diemen, [ Tiritiri, and East Cape.
