RECENT iBOMB EXPLO SION.
Received April 1, 11.20 a.m. NEW YORK, March 31. The man killed by a bomb explosion during the unemployed demonstration tin ißew York was not Barkman, husband-of the anarchist Emma Goldman. Barkman was arrested, but released, in the absence of a specific charge,, and on promising to appear if wanted.
| During a great unemployed demonstration at Union Square, New York, last week, a young Russian Jew, named Selig Silverstein, attempted to hurl a bomb at a igroup of twenty policemen. The tfuse was short and prematurely exploded, tearing off Silverstein's right .arm, and killing another person, who, at the time, was supposed to be Barkman. The police discovered in Silverstein's house letters from Barkman, containing details of extraordinary plots against financiers.
