Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Pahiatua sale, held in their yards, Pahiatua, yesterday, as follows: —A laige yarding of sheep and a fair number of cattle came forward. Bidding for good quality ;sheep was brisker than of late. Guild hard to quit, but before the day ■was over we managed to quit nearly -every line. We quote—2-tooth -owes, up to 12s lid; 4-tooth to f.f.m. ewed, to lis l td; cull ewes, to 5s 2d; 2-tooth wethers, to lis; wether lambs, to ss; ewe lambs, to «#%. 6s 6d; cull lambs, 2s to 3s;"rams, 2-tooth Romneys, to 2& guineas ; .-aged ram 3, to £1 2s. Cattle—Cows, with calves at foot, £2 7s; weaners, to 12s; springing heifers, £3 16s; heifers, just calved, to £4.
