The local branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servantß has carried a vote of want of confidence in the present Executive, and also a vote that Mr J. T. M. Hornsby had been unfairly treated. A FATAL FALL. HAMILTON, March 3X Whilst crossing the Hamilton traffic bridge late on Saturday night, a man named Frank Ferris tripped and fell eighty feet into the water. Ferris, who is said to have been under the influence of liquor, was drowned. CYCLIST FATALLY INJURED. CHKISTCHURCH, March 30. A man named J. Templeton, oi St. Albans, about 45 years uf age, met with a fatal accident duriDg the dinner hour to-day, by being knocked off his bicycle by a lorry at the Bank of New Zealand corner. He was taken to the hospital just before 1 p.m., but died very shortly from severe inteinal injuries he had received.
