GIVE UP' ALTOGETHER,

This means a great deal to mo 3': people. Had to give up is very far-reaching in its meaning sometimes, and generally includes in its influence others tha i the one affected. When the head of the house has to give up, every member of the family feels its weight. When the givingup, is on account of lame back, whiuh is lame kidneys, wo are miserable indeed. Not sick enough for bed, perhaps, b~t that lame back stops one from daily occupation just as surely as typhoid wouL!. Many a reader of this can't afford to give up, must keep on in spite of the back, and he can if he will but profit by the experience given below. Mr R. Falloon, Kirton Street, Masterton, says on 29th January, 1900 For the past eight years I've been troubled I with backache. There were times when it was terribly severe, especially after heavy work. At these times I felt scarcely able to move. Rubbing in, liniments was of no use in my case, the relief given by such treatment being very slight indeed In fact 1 was at a loss what to use, when I had the good fortune to obtain Doan's Backache Kidney Pills at Eton's Jfliarmacv. I was in terrible torture with backache at the time, and it was surprising that only a few doses of these pills i cured me. They are tip-top pills and I recommend all who suffer with backache to give them a trial." On Bth July, 1907, Mrs Falloon says : "My husband is free of backache, and has been ever since Doan's Backache Kidney Pills cured him seven years ago. We always ktep a box in the house, and he takes a dose occasionally, just as aprecau tion."

Do you feel as well us you ought, or are you troubled with backache, weak back, headaches, giddiness, depression of spirit 3, urinary or bladder weakness, or any other common symptom of disordered kidneys ? llemember, the kidneys are the mo6t important organs of the body, they need care; then give your kidneys help by taking the great kidney specific-Doan's .backache Kidney I'ills. For sale by all chemists and storekeepers at 8s per box, (six boxes lGs fid) or will be posted on receipt of price by Fostcr-McClelian and Co., 7(3 Pitt-street Sydney, N.S.\V. But, be sure you get Doan's.

BOILS AND CARBUNCLES Boils begin as little pimples. If Dr. Sheldon's Magnetic Liniment is well rubbed in at this time, they will disappear, and give you, no further trouble. If a boil is developed blood and matter must be squeezed out, and the wound dressed with Dr. Sheldon's Magnetic Liniment. Persons suffering from boils should rub the parts affected thoroughly twice a day with Dr. Sheldon's Magnetic Liniment. This will prevent the growth of a whole crop of boils. Obtainable at. H. E. Eton Chemist.
