, A - sU *lhe Wellington Land Board met on '.\ Thursday, Mr J. Strauchon,'Commissioner of Crown Lands, presiding. ~ Messrs A. Reece, J. Dawson, H. J. -Canton, and J. M. A'Court were also present. Applications for titles were as follow .-—Section 63, block 10, Kaitawa, H. Walton. Mrs J. C. Vickers applied for the freehold title of section 6, block 10, Kaitawa, and paid the valuation fee; —lt was resolved to appoint the ranker as appraiser to make the valu- . ation required. F. Galyar applied for permission >to convert the lease of section 16, (block 5, Huangarua, to renewable .lease on a new valuation.—lt was to obtain a new valuation gfrom the ranger on payment of the ' ff fee. B. C. Smith, lessee of section 56, • Pahiatua Village Settlement, asked permission to Jet one of the houses | thereon.—Approved on the usual conand provided rental and terms ;are reasonable. The Board agreed to the following .sub-leases:—Section 34, block 11, Mangaone, ' J. and J. Harley to J. W. Oldridge. Transfers as follow were approved •on the usual conditions-.—-Section 6, block 15, Makuri, from F. and H. West to F. West; section 83, Pshiatua Village Settlement, L. Baillie to W. E. Brightwell; section 6, block 6, Aohanga, A. E. Erick3en to B. A. Ericksen; section 28, block 4, Puketoi, J. A. Bellshaw to M. A. Neiscombe; section 3, block 3, :Mo*it Cerberus, W. Peck to G. Peck; section 8, block 8, Puketoi, L. ■."Nation to S. A. Weatherly; sections la, 3a, clock 1, Aohanga, W. T. Archer to E. H. Burling; section 33, j block 1, Aohanga (subject «o issue of license), W. T. Archer to E. H. Burling; section 15, block 2, Mangahao (subject to residence clause being complied with) F Heard to S. Jackson. Subdivision and trar.sfer—Section 23, block 7, Makuri, M. Conway to F. C. Rhodes. Further applications for transfer •were received and dealt with as follow: Sections 14 and] 6, block 8, Mount Cerberus, F. F. Tucker to J. A. Bellshaw.—Refused; section 17, block 8, Mount Cerberus, W. Gosling ••to A.Watson—Postponed. Section 13, Jjlock 4, Tararua, W. Rangimauriora fE. J. Whyte—Approved conditionly. Section 36, block 7, Tararua, " E . J. Whyte to Thomseri and Petersen.—Approved. Section 11, block 10, Aohanga, J. McGaughnan to H. ■ West—Approved conditionally.
