WEDDING.

JOHNSTONE—OGILVY.

A very pretty wedding was celebrated at Knox Church yesterday afternoon, when Mr Robert John- ; atone, junr., of Homebush, was mar- ( ried to Miss Mary Ogilvy,, only daughter ot Mr J. Ogilvy, of Worksop Road, Masterton. The bride, ( , who was given away by her father, was attired in a handsome dress of ( cream silk, and wore the orthodox ( veil and orange blossoms. The • bridesmaids were Misses : Duff and F. : and the little Misses Marjory ( and Dorothy Lee, , neicea of the bridegroom. The elder bridesmaids •wore cream cloth coats-and skirts ; with pale blue hats trimmed with ; feathers and roses, and carried blue , bouquets. The younger iraids wore dainty white emhroidered muslin . dresses and silk hats, and carried baskets of flowers. Mr J. Gordon was best man and Mr D. Ogilvy groomsman. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. A. T. Thompson. The rei.-pption was held at the residence of the brides' parents in Worksop Road, where the numerous presents received were on view to the large number of guests. The newly-wedded •couple left on their honeymoon tour by the afternoon train, the bride's travelling dress being a wine-coloured costumt, with hat to match. REYNOLDS-DAKIN. i At the Carterton Methodist Church, yesterday, afternoon, Mr C. L. Reynolds, of Clareville, was married to Misa N. Dakin, of the same place. The bride was given away by her brother-in-law, Mr Court, and was attended by her sister, Miss Olive Dakin, as bridesmaid. Mr W. Reynolds, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. The Revs W. J. jylliott and L. Thompson were the officiating clergymen. PHELPS-DAYSH. At St. Mark's Church, Carterton, on Tuesday, Mr E. T. Phelps, second son of Mr Sydney Phelps, of Somerset, England, was married to Miss E.J. M. Daysh. eldest daughter of Mr A. Daysh, of West Taratahi. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. R. Young, Vicar of St. Mark's.
