CAUTIOUS UNIONS. BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. WESTPORT, March 24. The Westport Labour Union has not yet taken any definite action respecting assistance to Blackball miners. At a special meeting of the Granity Miners' Union it was decided, in connection with the question of assistance to the Blackball miners, that no immediate action be taken, although the question of assistance to the wives arid' families was recognised. The principle of conciliation and arbitration was upheld.
