NAPIER BOWLING CARNIVAL.
BY TELEOIUriI—PRESS ASSOCIATION. NAPIER, March 24. The Carnival Bowling Tournament was continued to-day, though rain fell more or less throughout the whole of the morning. In the pairs competition Dean and Tabuteau (28) beat Martin and Martin (9). This leaves four pairs of local players still in, and they will probably play off to-mor-row. Several games in the citizens' match for Neal and Close, Ltd.'s, trophies were played, and resulted as follow:—Tabuteau's team (29) beat Ricketts' team (13), Crowley's team (20) beat St. John's team (Patterson) (14), Terry's team (18) beat Masterton (Cochrane) (13), Williams' team (19) beat Bulls' team (14).
