CANADA AND UNDESIRABLES.
A SALVATION ARMY DISCLAIMER. i Received March 24, 8.37 a.m. OTTAWA, March 23. The Salvation Army in Canada repudiates responsibility in connection with persons who are out of employment. They declare that they found positions for all their emigrants, and court the fullest inquiry into the matter. The Canadian Government is prohibiting the landing of any person whose passage is paid by a charitable organisation or public moneys, unless a permit is obtained. This course has been taken owing to it being found necessary to deport a considerable number of undesirables arriving from Great Britain.
