RETURNED CHAMPIONS.

WELLINGTON, March 22. The athletes who so successfully represented New Zeaiand at the recent meetings in Tasmania and Australia returned to Wellington by the Maitai to-day. They were informally welcomed at the wharf by a number of enthusiasts. It is understood they will be welcomed on behalf of the city and dominion to-morrow.
