LONDON MARKETS.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable messages from their London House, under date March 18th : Wool sales—Sales continue more animated, and there is a slightly better demand at unchanged prices. Fine cross-bred wools—prices are on the average lower by 8 per cent, than closing rates of last series. Butter — The market is very weak; finest, 114s. Tal'ow— Prices are higher as under: —Low and inferior descriptions, 3d per cwt; other descriptions. 6d per cwt.
