TRUST LANDS TRUSTEES.

MONTHLY MEETING.

The Masterton Trust Lands Trustees met last evening. Pesent — Messs T. B. Michell, R. Krahagen, E. McEwen, W. H. Jackson and E. G. Eton. The Teaaurer reported a credit balance at bank of £499. . The Te Ore Ore School Committee •wrote acknowledging, with thanks, the capitation grant. Master B. S. Syversen wrote thanking the Trustees heartily for their generous donation towards his University course expenses, and promising to endeavour to merit the Trustees' kindness. Miss L. R. Dagg wrote applying for a grant of £lO to assist her in her University course, she being a successful matriculation candidate. It was decided to give half the grant now, and half at the beginning of the second term, and to follow tuis plan of payment in future. Mr F. E. Lamb, architect, wrote offering to submit a competitive design for the proposed new Trust Offices free of charge, in order to bring his qualifications before local public bodies. gj&SBiS It was decided to reply that when the Trustees were prepared to proceed with the new buildings,'Mr Lamb would be given an opportunity of submitting designs. It was resolved to call for tenders for repairs to the fence of a Trust property in Queen Street.
