Southland ciops are well on market, B grade, Sparrowbills, Gallons and Danish listing at 2s sd, duns 2s 6d. Wheat—Fluctuates with over-sea reports, though sales are confined to local requirements. Easier tone prevailing in Home quarters, has tabled values on sufferance at 4s 6d, with prospect of rise, dominion having no surplus for export. Fowl feed same money. Potatoes—White are offering freely at £5 10s, blue keepers for early de|A livery £5 los, Tasmanian similar with ™ drop imminent. Maize ha» quiet turnover at 4s 6d. Barley—Malting, holds at 5s 3d; feed 4s, Cape *3s 9d. eas— Partridge plentiful 3s 9d, whites scares 5s 9d, split £ls 10s. Branis stationary at £5 ss. PollardOutput under demand at £6. Oatmeal —Quiet at £l4,"rolled oats £lB, oatina 10s (id. Chaff—South have firmed to 100s s.i, North 100s s.e; cost will advance with season, weather interfering with cutting.
