Section B— Bluff Hill 19 beat Gisborne 18, Maaterton 30, beat Hastings 18, Greenmeadows (Badley) 26 beat Palmerston North (Bunting) 12 Napier (Bull) a bye. Seventh round (Section A)— Wellington 19, a beat Palmerston North (Brophy) 12, W St. John's 22 beat Palmerston North (Pickering) 19, Greenmeadows (Crowley) 22 beat Dannevirke 16, Marton 19 beat Napier (Smith) 15. Section B —Hastings 25 beat Napier (Bull) 23, Greenmeadows (Badley) 23 beat Masterton 19, Gisborne A a An unplayed match Gisborne v. Masterton, from the second round, was finished this afternoon. This leaves the positions of the rinks as follows: — Section A— St. John's, 7 wins, 0 losses; Palmerston (Biophy), 4 wins, 3 losses; Wellington, 4 wins, 8 losses; Greenmeadows (Crowley), 3 wins,' 4 losses; Dannevirke, 3 wins, 4 losses; Napier (Smith), 3 wins, 4 losses; Palmerston North (Pickering), 2 wins, 5 losses; Marton, 2 wins, 5 losses. 3'Section B—Bluff Hill, 4 wins, 2 losses; Greenmeadows (Badley), 4 wins, 2 losses; Palmerston North (Bunting), 4 wins, 2 losses; Gisborne, 4 wins, 2 looses: Maaterton, 2 wins, 4 losses; Hastings, 2 wins, 4 losses; Napier (Hull), 1 win, 5 losses. Bluff Hill, Gisborne, Greenmeadows (Badley) and Palmerston North (Bunting) will play off their tie in section B to-morrow, and the winners will play the St. John's rink in the final. The games have been marked by some splendid play throughout and the performance of the St. John's rink in winning all their games is an excellent one.
