COOPER'S OPERASCOPE.
Cooper's Operascope Company concluded their season in the Town Hall last night, when an excellent programme was submitted to a fair house. With the exception of three pictures an entirely new programme was given. The pictures were very good, particularly the coloured films. In connection with the latter "An Eclipse of the Sun" was a beautiful picture, and was warmly applauded. "Shamus O'Brien" was a very good film, while "The Girl from Montana" was a film of an extremely exciting character, and retained the fixed attention of the audience throughout. The comic films were well received, and caused the audience to roar with laughter. "The Bobby and > the Motor Car," "His First Hike Ride," "The Old Maid's Picnic," were prchably the best of the series. Miss Fisher was again in fine voice, and her singing met with loud applause. A clever sketch by Mr Hugh Wilson and Miss Fisher also met with the approval of the audience. A matinee held in the afternoon by the company was well attended.
