JOHNSONVILLE, March 17J Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows:-A fair entry of sheep. The bullocks were mostly light medium quality. A line of extra fine hellers (beef) sold freely. Best huhocYs£B 7s6d, £8 10s, £7 7s 6d to £7 17s Gd, light £7, heifers £7 ■ 10s to £7lss. A fair yarding of sheep of good quality sold at last week's rate. Best wethers 16s 5d to 16s lOd, light 14s 7d to 15s lid, good wethers 14s to 14s lid, ewes 14s Id, 13s 4d to 13s Bd, lis 6d, fat lamb 12s yd, lis lOd, Us 53. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows:—We held our Pahiatua sale on Tuesday, March 17th. More sheep came forward than were advertised. Bidding was fairly brisk for wethers, and good ■ewes.
