ARBITRATION COURT.
BREACHES OF AWARD,
BY TELEGEAPH —PEESS ASSOCIATION. WELLINGTON, March 16. At a sitting of the Arbitration Court to-day, the Levin Meat Company for a breach of the preference clause of the award were fined £5. G. Rowell, for paying less than the rates stipulated in the Driver' Award, was fined £5, and Toohey, the man employed, was fined 10s. A. Fielder and Co. were fined £2 for employing a man at less than the minimum wage, and a similar fine was imposed on the Wellington Woodware Company for employing an unindentured lad! W. Day and C. Johnston were each fined £2 for employing non-Unionists.
