Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., re!port as follows: —We held our Eketahuna sale on Friday. More sheep came forward than were advertised. Bidding was brisk, and a rise of from Is to 2s per head took place. Pew cattle were in the yards, and what were there were hard to quit. We quote—2 tooth wethers 9s 6d to lis 9d, 2 tooth ewes to lis, breeding ewes to lis 9d, medium lambs to 6s 9d, cull lambs 2s Id to 4s 6d, 2 tooth Romney rams to £2 2s, aged Uomneys from 7s 6d to 20s, aged Lincolns to 1 guinea, 2 tooth Shropshires 1 guinea, 2$ to 3 year steers £3 8s 6d.
