THE PORTUGAL ASSASSINATIONS.
WHAT THE INVESTIGATIONS PROVE. Received March 9, 8.48 a.m. LISBON, March 8. In connection with the assassination of the King and Crown Prince of Portugal, investigations made in Lisbon prove that five or six conspirators fired into the Royal carriage. It is probable that those killed were not the actual murderers of the King and Crown Prince. Several witnesses affirm that the murderers escaped unhurt.
