When judged alive at the Show the first prize went to Mr L. J. Moore, and the second to Mr Fred Moore. The forequarter had a slight slim shoulder and the meat was pretty full on the rihs. The second bullock was in primer condition than the first, but had more "timber" than it, was bigger in the bone and consequently less profitable. There was one nice bullock, the smallest of the lot, which would have beenjjin the running but lacked condition. With a little more condition this would have been an excellent butcher's beast."
