"Harding lof Middlesex) and J. M'Evedy (the Kent vice-captain) are among those selected. George Hammett will be manager of the team. Received March 6, 10.30 p.m. LONDON, March 6.
The team for New Zealand will be as follows:—Full-backs, Dyke (Glamorganshire), Jackett (Cornwall;; three-quarters, R. Gibbs, J. L. Williams (Glamorganshire), Griffiths, Jones, (Monmouthshire), McEvedy, Jones (Kent), Chapman (Durham), Vassal! (Somersetshire); halves, Davey (Cornwall), Laseon (Midlands), W. Morgan (Kent), G. Williams (Lancaster); forwards. Archer, Dibble, Down, Kyke (Somersetshire), R. Green, E. Morgan, L. Thomas (Glamorgan), W. Oldham (Midlands), Ritson (Northumberland), Jackson (Cornwall), J. F. Williams, Harding (Middlesex), Wilson (Cumberland) and another. The team, which is considered fairly representative, will probably return via Australia and Canada.
