Mr R. Dawson Moore, who for some time was engaged in the Public Works Department, has decided to contest the seat in the newly-formed Taumaranui electorate. At South Featherston, on Thursday last, Mr Arthur Edwaid Dohnt, third son of Mr and Mrs J. F. A. "-$ Dohnt, of Martinborough, was mar- * ried to Miss Naomi Olive Tyler, fifth daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Tyler, cf South Featherston. Mr Percy Bond, one of the proprietors of the "Nelson Colonist," is at present paying a short visit to Masterton.
