In reply to the statement that the Cricket Association made over £1,300 profit on the fourth test match, the treasurer of tlie Association has published a balance-sheet establishing the announcement that there was a profit of only sd. Since the balance was drawn, £3 15s was paid for M'Kenzie's coat and cap as twelfth man, making a debit of £3 14s 7d. SYDNEY, March 5. All the otates are participating in the Noble testimonial.
A match was played at Mauriceville, yesterday, between the Carlton and Mauriceville Clubs, and resulted in a win for the former by 50 runs. Carlton made 75 (Thymic, retired, 29, Roberts, not out, 24, Hebenton, retired 10), and Mauriceville 25. W. Lett took the most wickets for Carlton.
