THE BOOTH CUP. CARTERTON v. GREYTOWN. (By. Telegraph—Special Reporter) GREYTOWN, March 5.
Four rinks of Carterton bowlers journeyed to Greytown to-day to play for the Booth Cup. The green was heavy owing to rain falling during the afternoon.
Carterton were successful in the three games out of four. The following are the scores:— Pepper, Lightfoot, Bish, Whyte, skip (Carterton), 22, beat Loasby, Wall, H. Haigh, McFarlane, skip (Grey town), 15. McPhee, Hughan, Downard, Fisher, skip. (Carterton), 28, beat Haigh,.' Wigg, Amos, S. Nicholls skip, (Greytown), 8. A. Leach, Koydhouse, Masson, Baillie, skip (Carterton), 12, lost to Day, Murray, Udy, Brunton, skip, (Greytown), 32. Philpotts, Canton, F. Lindop, Ramsay, skip (Carterton), 22, beat White, McPhee, Trotman, Webster, skip (Greytown), 11. In a scratch match R. King, Dudson, Rathbone, G. Leach, skip (Carterton), 24, beat Stratford, Bicbnell, Ginger, D. Humphrey, skip (Greytown), 22.
