ATHLETICS.

The meeting of delegates of the New Zealand Athletic Union was resumed this morning-.
Steps were taken to form a centre in the Auckland Province. The election of officers resulted : President, Mr G. W. Woods (Invercargill), re-elected; Vice-Presidents, Messrs T. Duncan (Wellington) and Clark (New Plymouth); auditor, Mr J. Kennedy (Geraldine) secretary and treasurer, Mr J. Corroran (Dunedin); committee, Messrs R. Smith (Pahiatua), Good (Christchurch), Kea3t (Dunedin), Perkins (West Coast.
The alteration of the constitution to allow of the union being registered under the Unclassified Societies Act, as drawn up by Mr Duncan, Wellington, was adopted. ' On the motion of Mr Keast (Dunedin) the Otago Centre was allotted the next conference and championships. Record books and standards were recommenced to be drawn up by the executive, the recorder being Mr Mussen (Southland).
, The secretary was voted a bonus of £25 und the President was given an illuminated address in recognition of his valuable services.
