BRITISH COLUMBIA AND THE ASIATICS.
A JUDGE'S CONDEMNATION. Received February 27, 9 a.m. OTTAWA, February 26. One of the Judges of the Full Court strongly condemned the disloyalty of the provincial Parliament in trying to override the Dominion's Act embodying treaty engagements. (The Full Court of British Columbia upheld the decision given by Chief Justice Hunter to the effect that the Act recently passed by the Assembly, to restrict immigration was inoperative as regards Japanese, since it was contrary to the terms of the Anglo-Japanese treaty).
