BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION. NEW PLYMOUTH, February 26. The New Plymouth Caledonian Society's Championship Sports, today, drew large fields, and a record attendance. The track after yesterday's rain was slightly heavy. The principal results were as follow : Half-mile Handicap—A. Parkinson 1, W. G. Whitten 2, A. Johansen 3. Eighteen competed. Fifty Pounds Caledonian Handicap—First distance, 120 yards, C. Hewson 1, W. H. Smith 2, J. Osborne 3. Twenty competed. Time, 11 3-ssec. Second distance, 220 yards, W. G. Harding 1, V. C. Tate 2, Hewson and Stohr dead heat 3. Time. 22 3-ssec. Third distance, 440 yards, Whitten 1, Osborne 2, Harding 3. Time, 51sec. Nineteen started. Harding won the points prize. C. J. Morris won the 100 Yards New Zealand Championship; A. Campbell tho Half-mile Championship, and W. G. Harding the Quartermile Championship. The Mile Handicap was won by Johansen with Parkinson second. Pulford won the mile cycle race, with W. Parkes second, and A. E. Parkes third. Eighteen competed. Time, 2min 28sec. The Mile and a-half Bicycle Handicap resulted—A. G. Donald 1, M. D. Julian 2, G. Pulford 3. Nineteen competed. Time, 3min 45sec. Two-mile Wheel Race —A. E. Parkes 1, R. Jones 2, F. Wells 3. Seventeen competed. Time, smin.
