A DESPERATE FIGHT.
A MAN RUNS AVOK.
ADELAIDE, February 22. An unknown man ran amok in a boarding-house. He fired five shots at a woman; then barricaded himself in a room, and fired five shots at a detective who, with a constable, came to arrest him. All the shots missed.
The detective fired three shots, slightly wounding the man, who fought desperately till arrested. There was apparently no motive for the man's action.
