"THE BLUE MOON."
Mr J. C. Williamson's Musical Comedy Company will stage "The Blue Moon" to-morrow night at the Town Hall. Of the .leading comedian of the new company, Mr Victor Gouriet, the "Melbourne Argus" says:—"Mr Gouriet is a genuine actor, a master of true low comedy, who depends solely on legitimate means for his effects. He never passed the boundary line of good taste. He is nimble in action, comical in every movement, enthusiastic, spirited, and alway keeps to his business on the stage." Of Miss Daisy Wallace's performance of the part of Millicent Leroy, the "Argus" writes—"So vivacious and animated an actress we have not seen for years. Another lady who made a very successful appearance in 'The Blue Moon' is Miss Alma Barber. Miss Amy Murphy, the prima donna of the company, has one of the richest soprano voices we have heard for many a long day."
